I had already finished the background of the painting (also shoutout to him for the idea for that one), and I was brainstorming what words to add on top. I didn't know if I wanted to go deep or silly.

The first couple felt too cliche and too deep, but the last couple felt stupid.

I sent this screenshot to my partner and asked for his input. After going back and forth a bit, he sent me the prem crowd photo to show me how cool and fun the crowds are over there compared to Vancouver (common occurrence). Immediately, I knew that was the one.

A painting that started out as a filler to take up some space in my art market booth turned into one of my favourite ones I've done. I plan to make a big version of this painting soon.
